Edinburgh Asset Finance – Open for Business
Following the government announcement on the 23rd of March that the UK was to go into what is being dubbed a semi-lockdown, businesses have been thrown into a state of confusion and uncertainty. This is certainly just the start of what is likely to be a very testing few months for the majority of the United Kingdom.
Edinburgh Asset Finance have sought advice, and have been told that the government has advised that we fall into the ‘Essential Service’ category. This means we can continue to operate. However we have taken certain measures to ensure that we are limiting all social contact. As such our offices are no longer manned, and all client facing staff are now working from home.
All staff are available on the usual telephone numbers, and all have access to their emails, meaning any enquiry can be dealt with in much the same way as it would’ve been previously. Due to the essential service tag we are free to conduct loans if and when required. This will obviously mean some sort of meeting is required, but to minimise any contact we will be pre-preparing all paperwork, and will only be meeting for the signing and handing over of assets. We feel this is the most responsible way of operating. We feel that in the current situation and particularly while the promised government money may be slow in arriving, that we are well placed to help individuals, and business owners, with short term cash flow requirements.
We hope that these plans can allow us to continue to help those that need us, while also being very mindful of the advice issued by the government, and reduce social contact to an absolute minimum.
If the Covid-19 crisis leaves you considering a business loan and you would like to discuss your options please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Either by calling us on 0131 556 2500 or filling in our enquiry form.
